Alright folks, if you are a frequent visitor to my blog, you know how long I have been without an oven. Our kitchen renovation (reveal coming soon, promise!) took a really, really long time. I went about a month without having access to an oven and it sucked. I was so excited to have use of it again, and literally the first thing I cooked in our brand new and glorious oven was this delicious pizza from Bon Appetit. I’m going to go out on a limb and assume you like pizza because who doesn’t. And there are lots of frozen pizza options out there for you to choose from. I have eaten and enjoyed many brands in the past. But this one from Bon Appetit is by far my new favorite.
Here’s why: One, I love the toppings. Pepperoni pizza is obviously great, but when you combine it with pesto…seriously good. Two, I love the crust. This is a thin crust pizza, and it bakes to the perfect amount of crunch. I find a lot of thin crust frozen pizzas burn easily or taste like cardboard, but this one was just right. Three, when you eat a Bon Appetit frozen pizza, you don’t feel like you are eating frozen pizza. It tastes like you are at a fancy Italian restaurant. Which means it pairs well with wine, which is clearly super important.
As you are probably aware, it is back to school time, which means I am back to work. Cooking tends to take a backseat during the school year, so I am always looking for easy and fast dinner options. These Bon Appetit frozen pizzas are going to be my new go to for a quick and delicious meal. I can’t wait to try their other options, like Mozzarella and Pesto. My mouth is watering as I type this….it is almost time for dinner. Guess I know what I am having tonight! Make sure you look for Bon Appetit the next time you are on the hunt for a yummy slice of pizza!
