10 Things I’m Obsessed with Right Now

Guys. It’s been a hot second since I’ve had actual real brain function. Pitch Wars kicked my ass (in the best possible way) and I’m finally starting to feel like a human being again. As much as any self-employed mother/wife ever feels like a human being. So like, just a little bit of human. ANYWAY. I need something fun and light right now, so what better way to keep it cool than by sharing my latest obsessions. Because WHY NOT.
Schitt’s Creek: I know I’m not alone in this one. Schitt’s Creek is the funniest shit (pun intended) on TV right now and I am in hardcore denial that it’s coming to an end. But I will watch this show on repeat until the end of time so it will never truly be over for me.
Katee Robert’s Wicked Villains Series: Guys. These books are no joke. Katee writes super hot erotica, and her latest series is about Disney-inspired villains. The first book is about Jafar and Jasmine, the second one is Hades, Meg, and Hercules, and her next one is Hook and Tink. They are diiiirrrttty and I love them so much.
Fated Mates Podcast: I’ve been trying to read along with Jen and Sarah as they cover the books that blooded them (I’ve been failing lately, but I’m gonna try to catch up!). I especially love the interstitials, except they leave me wanting to buy eight thousand books and I don’t have the time, money, or space for that.
Vanderpump Rules: This is nothing new as I have been a huge fan of the show since literally the first episode. I’m so happy it’s back, I want it to go on forever. I wish they just had live cams set up in their houses and at the restaurants so I could pump (hehe) it into my veins whenever I wanted.
Moulin Rouge Original Broadway Cast Recording: Honestly, after seeing the show last summer, I wasn’t sure how the music would translate, but I am obsessed with this recording. And now I want to see the show again, because I think I’m going to like it even more the second time.
Pretty Notebooks: This is nothing new either, but after going through revisions and such during Pitch Wars, and as we’re entering wedding season, I’m in prime notebook buying time. Give them all to me (as long as they’re spirals).
Gilded Age Romance: I have fallen in love with late 19th century New York via romance, and it is spectacular. I definitely like historicals set in Regency England/Scotland, but damn, I’ve really found my niche with Gilded Age New York. I need them all in my eyeballs.
Wheat Beer: I’ve been getting crazy bad heartburn lately, which makes it really hard for me to drink wine (boooooooooo) so I’ve had to comfort myself with beer instead. Which is fine, and I love it, but I do hope this heartburn thing is just a phase.
The Bachelor: Okay, I’m putting an asterisk by this one. I am definitely obsessed, but I also like really don’t like 99% of the girls right now. I hope we start getting to spend some more time with some of the non-drama gals (haha) because while I love this show, I’m starting to lose a little interest because the girls are too much.
Owl Crate: I took a little break from my Owl Crate subscription because I was supes poor and we were in the midst of moving and all that. I was bummed because I’d been a subscriber for a long time, but I’m happy to be back on the horse. I went back because I have to have their yearly reading journal, and then I stayed because I remembered how awesome their book boxes are.
